Our infrared (IR) camera allows us to uncover and "see" what the ordinary eye cannot. We "look inside" your home's walls, ceilings, behind ceramic tile, and under floors. IR locates moisture, electrical issues, pests, ductwork leaks, and energy loss due to insufficient insulation. Differences in temperature show up as color variations on the camera's view screen, allowing the inspector to "see" many problems that would ordinarily go undetected.

Once "suspicious" areas are found during the initial IR scan, the inspector uses other instruments like a moisture meter or circuit tester to determine the exact nature and cause of the problem. We then make recommendations on solutions to fix the problem.

We also offer a complete electrical analysis*

In addition to the GFCI, AFCI, and other required electrical checks, we test voltage drop under load, line voltage, ground - neutral voltage, ASCC(available short-circuit current), peak voltage, frequency, ground, hot and neutral impedances, AFCI (arc fault circuit interrupter) tests, and false (bootleg) grounds. These different tests uncover faulty wiring and are done using a Sure Test Circuit Analyzer, which is the only tool of it’s kind.

These are based mainly on periodical IR scans and visual inspections combined. We inspect your house on an annual, or biannual basis. By keeping records of past inspections we are able to track the progress of any issues, such as, moisture intrusion, leaks or energy-loss. (ask for details)
